Academic Journal Startup: The Journal of Muslim Mental Health

The Journal of Muslim Mental Health is an interdisciplinary peer-reviewed academic journal and publishes articles exploring the mental health of Muslims in the United States and globally. Our journals program’s mission is to elevate journals, like JMMH, whose singular but important work may not be recognized by the dominant commercial publishers. MPS facilitated JMMH's launch as an open-access journal over a decade ago and has since worked with the editorial board to achieve their goals and the widespread dissemination of the journal. Using our network of expert service providers, MPS has provided typesetting, creation of industry-standard journal article XML files, robust usage analytics, and a transition to a new and streamlined journals platform, Janeway.

Through our services, The Journal of Muslim Mental Health publishes research and clinical material, including research articles, reviews, and reflections on clinical practice. The journal can be found in Ulrichs, Google Scholar, DOAJ, Scopus/Elsevier, EBSCO, ProQuest, and Web of Science. The journal is a much-needed resource for professionals seeking to identify and explore the mental health care needs of Muslims in all areas of the world, and Michigan Publishing Services is proud to be its publisher.
