The students are back and the fall semester is in full swing here at the University of Michigan. Here, a look back at what we published in August:
- Music and Politics released issue 8.1. MP is an open access, peer-reviewed electronic journal first published in 2007 and is published online twice per year. The current Winter 2014 issue features five new articles and a listing of new books on music and politics.
- The Journal of the Abraham Lincoln Association released a new issue (35.1). This issue contains a variety of articles and book reviews. The U-M Library hosts digitized versions of a number of Abraham Lincoln Association publications, so you can search across them all at once. JALA publishes biannually, in the winter and summer; it is freely available to read online.
- 10 new articles were added to The Encyclopedia of Diderot & d’Alembert Collaborative Translation Project. The Encyclopedia is an ongoing collaborative effort of volunteer translators to translate a selection of more than 70,000 original articles. This site has been designed to provide translations of articles from the Encyclopédie edited by Denis Diderot and Jean le Rond d’Alembert in the 18th century to teachers, students, and other interested English-language readers.
- ARKIVOC, the open access organic chemistry journal, published 13 new and updated articles in August.
